Establishing and running a successful business enterprise requires combination of multiple skills and competencies. Entrepreneurship is a journey, which involves combination of experiences, challenging entrepreneurs for innovative problem-solving of diverse nature and in different areas. Entrepreneurs operate in different context and, therefore, the entrepreneurship journey involves a combination of experiences in terms of contextual challenges and problem-solving. In view of these unique experiences, the knowledge development on entrepreneurship depends largely on learning from experiences of those who have done it on ground in their respective contexts.
The 1st Business Founders Conclave (BFC1) had been planned to provide a platform for shared learning from experiences of founders of businesses and start-ups and was co-organized by the Regional College of Management – Bengaluru, the Management Research Scholars Association, Bangalore, India CSR and the Humanistic Management Network India Chapter.
