DESCRIPTION:By invitation only\, key members of the the HMN went on a conference tour across India from the 25th October to the 1st November 2023. The tour consisted of six Humanistic Management events in five cities during eight days at top business schools in Bangalore\, Greater Noida (Delhi Metropolitan Area)\, Mumbai and Nagpur. \nUnder the leadership and initiative of the India Chapter lead of the Humanistic Management Network\, Dr. Shiv K. DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, 22nd November 2023\, The Humanistic Management Network Nigeria Chapter organized a webinar with the theme titled “Balancing Business Objectives and Employees’ Needs”. Dr. Adaora Onaga\, the Chapter Lead HMN Nigeria gave the welcome address and a brief history of HMN Nigeria.\n \nShe also talked about the background of the theme whose objective is to shed more light on the systematic and practical approaches for business and organizational managers and leaders to align their business objectives with the needs of their workforce/human capital\, as well as how to evaluate the ensuing results and impact of their actions. \nThe moderators\, Mrs. Enitan Oteju Ibironke and Dr. Adeleke Adedeji gave a brief introduction of the two guest speakers\, Dr. Emeka Osuji (Associate Professor of Economics\, Pan-Atlantic University\, Lagos\, Nigeria) and Mr. Olusoji Adeniyi (Former Chairman\, United Nations Pensions Fund). \nThe speakers addressed the potential trade-offs\, conflicts and ethical dilemmas that may arise in the process of creating this important corporate equilibrium\, and advanced ways and means through which they may be addressed in a more responsible and sustainable manner. \nThere was a very interactive Q&A session anchored by the moderators after which Dr. Adaora Onaga gave the closing remarks to end the webinar.

DESCRIPTION:From 27th November to 1st December the 2023 Global Humanistic Management Network Meeting took place at Jagiellonian University in Krakow\, Poland bringing together HMN Chapter leads from around the world as well as our Board of Directors. \n \nIn addition to a series of internal meetings and activities there were also three public events taking place: \n\nHumanistic Management in Action – panel discussion: During the panel discussion\, representatives of local chapters of the Humanistic Management Network will present how humanistic management is understood and practiced in their countries.\nHumanistic Management in Action – workshop: In this workshop specific outreach activities will be discussed under the theme of a Humanistic Management Blog\, understood as multi-channel outreach and engagement activities for\, with and to HMN stakeholders.\nHumanistic Management in Action – lecture series: This series of short lectures covering different aspects of Humanistic Management research covered by members of the HMN.
